Urban Alliance Studio

See Noisette history displays in the lobby of 7 Storehouse Row.

The Studio features interactive electronic presentations of sustainable products and ideas.
How can you build or rebuild in ways that create a healthy indoor environment? What are the secrets to tomorrow’s energy efficient homes and businesses? Who makes building products, furnishings and systems that are setting the standards of sustainability?

You’ll find the answers to those and many more sustainable-growth questions when you explore The Studio, an interactive expo of real progress on the road to a durable, efficient, comfortable and healthful future. The members of the Noisette Urban Alliance, fifteen of the world’s leading planet-friendly manufacturers, invite you to tour their computerized exhibits and experience the latest in sustainability-thinking.

There’s a lot of hands-on experience waiting at The Studio, too. Plumbing fixtures that conserve water. Electrical fixtures that put the light where you need it and not where you don’t. Handsome carpet that’s made from itself. Appliances that save and save, while they last and last. And an entire floor of commercial space built to LEED Standards, the sustainable building guidelines of the U.S. Green Building Council’s pilot program for commercial interiors.

The Studio is open from 1- 4 p.m. weekdays. If you’re bringing a group, please call ahead: 302-2100 ext. 274. The Studio is also available for community meetings, training programs and other small scale events – just ask.
