Located in the northwestern corner of the Noisette community, these two residential neighborhoods began to take shape in the 1950s and 60s. They’ve evolved as socially cohesive areas with an active neighborhood association and strong identity. One of their areas of interest is the proposed environmental restoration of Filbin Creek, the waterway that defines their northern border. Other developments impacting these neighborhoods include Oak Terrace Preserve, and a new combined-school complex housing the School of the Arts Magnet, and the Academic Magnet School. These schools are among the best in State, and the Academic Magnet is rated 10th in the Nation by Newsweek magazine.
